It is with heavy hearts and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Dalip Singh Gill (Deepa); our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Dalip passed away on February 23rd, 2013 surrounded by family and friends.
He will forever be in the heart of his beloved wife Amarjit, his son Satwant (Sunny), daughters Sarbjit (Sarb) and Sukhwinder (Sukhay). His grandson Chiraag will cherish the memories of his dear Nanaji.
In 1978; Dalip moved to Winnipeg and created love and legacy in the community which will never be lost. His passion and dedication for sports especially Kabaddi, will be the pride of his community for generations to come.
A funeral service was held at 10:00 am on Saturday March 2nd, 2013 at Thomson “In the Park” on McGillvray Boulevard.
Much gratitude is expressed to family and friends for their love and support during this time.
In lieu of flowers, private donation can be made to Sher-E-Punjab Sports Club E.K Winnipeg.
