Danny is predeceased by his parents Deonarine and Rajkoomarie Singh; and siblings Ramkissoon, Shri-Krishen, Mahabir, Bharat, Sinanan, Dasrath, Rampartap, Sookranie, Dolly and Jasodra.
He is survived by his wife Jane of 37 years; children, Justin, Steven and Jennifer; his brother Frank, sister-in-law Kamala and their three children; and many other nieces and nephews.
Danny graduated from the University of Manitoba, and taught in their microbiology department from 1980 to 1997. He also taught in North Dakota, at the University of Winnipeg Collegiate and at the Red River Community College.
Danny migrated from Moruga, Trinidad and Tobago to Canada at the age of 20. He was fun-loving and regarded highly by his friends and family. He will be sadly missed.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Funeral services will then follow at 2:00 pm.
