

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Scutter on Wednesday, November 4th at the age of 70. He will be sadly missed by Signy, his wife of 46 years, his two daughters Charlene (Roger) and Gillian, grand-daughters Tunyia and Aerial-lee. He is also survived by his sister Margaret and her family, brother-in law-Brian.
David was predeceased by his mother and father Marion and Edward, and his in-laws Violet and Colin Glanfield.
David was born in England and immigrated with his family to Canada in 1959. The family settled in Winnipeg where David completed his education at United College and University of Manitoba. David obtained his CA designation at Touche Ross. David worked for Metropolitan Nova Met and Greentree Homes until retiring in 2015.
David’s favorite past-time included boating and fishing. He was a member of the Winnipeg Power and Sail Squadron. Going to Clearwater Bay and fishing with family and friends was his favorite activity.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Oncology and Cancer Care for the care and attention given to David during his illness.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park”, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cancer Care Manitoba or Seven Oaks Hospital.
