Diana Lee Jowett (Payjack)
December 31, 1971 – October 14, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diana (Dee Dee), our wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be forever remembered by her husband Lonnie, parents Edward and Sandra, sister Kerrie-Ann (Kyle), brother Derek (Tara), nieces Jessica and Breelynn, nephews Christopher and Brody and many extended family members and friends too numerous to mention.
Diana was predeceased by her grandparents Stephanie (Stella) & Walter and Benjamin (Ben) & Viola (Vi), her fur babies Licorice and Ebony, and many other friends and family who welcomed her with open arms.
Diana was born on December 31, 1971 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her greatest accomplishments and proudest moments were when she graduated highschool and later in life graduating as a Nail Technician, which she truly enjoyed.
Growing up she played sports and her favorite was Ringette which then lead to her joining Sponge Hockey with a group of close friends. After high school she had several professions, sometimes working multiple jobs. She was a Nail Technician, Regional Manager, Warehouse Worker, Server/Waitress, Physiotherapy Clerk and a Dispatcher being her last position in 2018.
Due to her health she could not pursue many of the things that she wanted to the last few years and that lead to many struggles. Despite this she was seen by many as the “life of the party”, both past and present. She made many, many friends throughout her life and always tried to make others laugh, even at her own expense sometimes! She loved Halloween and her Birthday because there was “always a party on New Years Eve”.
While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
Our family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.

Don’t Be Too Sad by Anon
I’ve lived my life
I’ve tried my best
The memories I hold dear
Are experiences I have known
Of happiness and tears
The love of my family
The care of my friends
The good times I’ve shared
Right to the end
I’ve travelled life’s byways
Seen children grow up
Experienced life’s living
And drunk from love’s cup
I leave you with memories
With thoughts of you all
I’m no longer with you
But your mind will recall
The good times we shared
The laughter we had
Please cherish these memories
And don’t be too sad.
