Dolores May Klassen

May 10, 1940 - January 6, 2011

With deep sadness we announce the unexpected death of Dolores May (Reage) Klassen on January 6, 2011 at the Victoria General Hospital. After a short battle with cancer, she died peacefully surrounded by her daughters.

Dolores is survived by her children; Karen & Murray Burkett, Jill Klassen Laudin, Richard & Corrin Klassen and Laura Leppard & Paul Russell and grandchildren Sarah & Kyle, Anna, Adam, Emily Laudin, Dana and Daniel Burkett and her sisters and their families.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband Wesley, parents Rudy & Helen Reage and brothers Welton and Delner.

Dolores loved farming and working outdoors starting at young age with her Dad. Dolores had a passion for hard work, a can-do attitude and a witty sense of humor. Dolores was deeply committed to her family and will be sadly missed.

Dolores' family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Thorlakson and the staff of the 5th floor N.

Viewing will be Wed. Jan. 12, 2011, 7-8:30 p.m. at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral will Thurs. Jan. 13, 2011, 1p.m., Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Dr. Winnipeg, MB. Interment to follow at St. Paul's cemetery in Brunkild.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hannah Taylor Ladybug Foundation or to Siloam Mission in Winnipeg.
