Very sad he was great guy in the time that I knew him  m he was a great teacher in the hunting industry mostly in bow hunting skills . It is a loss to MBGTASS. 

Ed Strauman

For as long as I’ve ever known Ed he’s been quietly volunteering and helping others. I came to know him as he’s been a fixture in the bow hunting community since before I ever even started bowhunting. Years later I would begin to serve with him in the Manitoba Bowhunting Records Club. Having only known him for near 15 years I am so saddened I can’t imagine the loss all the Parkers and close friends feel. There wasn’t a shadow of doubt of how much family meant to “big Ed” as John endearingly calls him. I am very thankful for all the time spent with Ed. What a great man.

After growing up alongside the Parker family in Sanford and Brunkild, I was deeply saddened by the news of Ed's sudden passing. I grew up next to John and later worked with Mindy and I know how much they love their family. I'm sending love to all of you during this difficult time.

Ed was a dedicated member of our outdoor club for many years and will be sadly missed by us.

I am deeply heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend, Ed Parker. Working together at Winland Pork brought us into each other's lives, but it was his kind heart and unwavering loyalty that made him a truly special friend to me. Ed was a wonderful soul who brought so much warmth to those around him. My love and deepest prayers go out to Jen and his family during this incredibly painful time. Rest in peace, my friend.

I worked with Ed at the Windland sow farm not far from Sanford!  Ed was my right hand man in the barn.  He was hard working, caring, funny, and loved to spend time in the outdoors!!  We had one heck of a crew there, and I enjoyed going to work every day with that crew!  The past few years we hadn't crossed paths much, but always looked forward to our visits!  I thought we had more time Eddy!!  My condolences to Jen and the kids.  Ed will be sorely missed!
