It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our Mother.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Adrian; brother Jerry; sister Mildred; infant grandson Steven; parents Andy and Anne Gislason.

She is survived by sons Tim (Cathy), Terry, Tracy (Petra), and Mike (Joanne); grandchildren Robert, Rachel (Blaine), Jessica (Shawn), Morgan (Nathan), Kirsten, Jordan, Mackenzie, Sherry-Anne, Grace and Samuel; great-grandchildren Memphis and Benjamin; sisters Ruth (Lynn), Barbara (Bill), Betty, Lynn (Arlie) and Linda; cousin Pat Richards (Gordon) and many nieces and nephews.

Mom married Dad on January 19, 1957. They lived in Winnipeg until 1978, when they moved out to Ste. Anne. Mom was active on the hobby farm, and also ran Swayzee’s Restaurant in Ste. Anne for a while. She loved her horses, knitting, bingo and being out in her garden. We take comfort in knowing she has gone to be with Dad.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Green Acres Funeral Home.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother and father. They were a big part of my own parents lives (Bill and Donna Ealing) and as a result, became a regular presence in our lives as well. They enjoyed snowmobiling and great times at a variety of cottages over the years. Although my parents have been gone 19 years, I have often thought about Adrian and Eileen over these many years. I am sorry for your loss.
