It is with great sadness we share that, after a courageous battle, George passed away on January 11, 2011 with his family by his side.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Marilynn; daughter Tracey; adopted daughter and granddaughter Kim and Britt; brothers Al and Dennis (Christine); sister Colleen (Paul); step sister Pat (George) along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and Brutus.
Most of his working years were spent in the sheet metal industry during which time he owned and operated Specialloy Industries. He retired to his paradise at Ingolf, Ontario in 2003. Ingolf was always known as his labour of love.
Service was held in Klassen Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3K 0Y1.
