Gerlando was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Rosaria, son Gaetano, daughter in law Angie, sisters Concetta, Francesca (Vincenzo) and Assunta (Leone). He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Julie, Salvatore (late Angie), Giuseppina (Anders) and Antonino; grandchildren, Jared, Matthew and Luca; many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and family in Italy and Rockford Illinois.
Gerlando was born on March 8, 1931, in Agrigento, Sicilia, Italia and immigrated to Canada in 1956. He worked for 39 years at CNR where he made many close friends. His greatest love was his family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospital for the care he was given. A big thank you to the amazing staff at Calvary Place Personal Care home.
Prayers and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
