

An amazing women, friend to all she was dearly loved and will be missed greatly.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward, daughter Marilyn Barraclough, parents Gordon and Florence Windsor, brothers Doug and Garth Windsor, and sister Lois Hudson
She is survived by her children Louise Haar (Nick), Deb Mantai (Ray) and Gord (Wanda), her sister-in-law Donalda (Dennis) Bell, and many grandchildren , great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and her “family” at Sterling House where she resided for close to 5 years
Hazel was one of Winnipegs finest swimming instructors, hanging up her bathing suit at the age of 78, after instructing the Red Cross water safety program for fifty years.
Hazel was born in Winnipeg and lived almost her entire life here, with exception of her high school years spent in Pilot Mound, Manitoba.
Her talents were endless, her energy limitless and she could be depended upon to give a helping hand at a moment’s notice.
Funeral service was held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 3:00 pm at St Peters Anglican Church with Cannon Donna Joy, officiating.
