It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loved father and grandfather James Edward Wall 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Vista Park Lodge.
Predeceased by his loved wife Isabel of 45 years. Dearest friends Mary & Ken, Cyril, brothers Aubrey, Georgie, Harry, mother Bessie and father Edward Wall.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Susanne, son in law Terry, granddaughter Jazmin, grandson Brandon, son Joe, daughter in law Lorraine. He will be missed by his dog Shadow.
Jim will be remembered by many friends and family.
Dad served with Canadian Grenadier Guards during World War II and Second Battalion PPCLI from the beginning of the Korean War until 1976. During the battle of Kapyoung he was an assault Pioneer Section attached to C Coy.
Dad also serviced with the United Nation in Cypress.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Green Acres Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the Wpg Humane Society.
