On October 1, 2013 in Winnipeg Joan Werner peacefully passed away in her sleep at the age of 71 years.
Joan is survived by her daughters Sue (Lloyd) of Stonewall and Sandy of Winnipeg and three beloved grandchildren, Jennifer, Kyle and B.J. and her favorite ex son-in-law James. She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1979, brother Edward in 1930, father Ted in 1995, and mother Olga in 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. with private interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
The family requests that the funeral service be fragrance free.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
