Juana Rosa Vargas

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of their beloved Mother and Grandmother (Lita) on May 31st 2025 at the age of 65.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Roberto (Heydy), Andrea ( Mike), Victor ( Kim), her grandkids: Samantha, Savannah, Javier, Camilo, Marcelo, Nicco, Nicholas, Fernando, Orlando, Oliver, Isabella and Vincent.

She will also be deeply missed by her surviving family including her mother : Teresa Tobar , her sisters : Gloria, Cristina, Elena, Marisol, Anna, Maria, Karen and Chemira, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 38 years Victor Vargas, her father: Juan Tobar and grandson Victor Jr. whose memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Juana was born July 20th 1959 in San Antonio, Chile. She was the 2nd oldest of 9 sisters and at a young age she carried a deep love for learning and cherished her time at home to help raise her sisters. She also dreamed of becoming a teacher one day, just a reflection of her life long nurturing spirit. Juana's home was also filled with family gatherings and comforting aroma of freshly baked goods including some of her families' favourites pan amasado, torta milhojas and empanadas. Just one of her many ways she expressed her love. Time spent with her family is what she treasured most, whether it be just sitting around the table sharing stories or outside playing with the grandkids. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
