Justina Joyce Easter

It is with deep sadness that we announce sudden but peaceful death of Justina Joyce Easter on July 1st, 2026, at the age of 57.

She will be lovingly remembered by her spouse and very best friend William Gault, their 3 children, Jasper Gault, Justin Easter and Christopher Gault and grandchildren Laina Gault and Hunter Gault. Her beloved siblings Sandra Harris (Wilfred), Dennis Easter, Jane Easter, Vicky Easter, Cheryl George (Ray) and Donald Easter as well as her nieces and nephews too many to mention but you all had a special place in her heart.

Justina was predeceased by her mother Nora Easter, Father William Easter and late brothers William Easter Jr. and Victor Easter.

She was born in Ashern, Manitoba, spending her childhood in Chemawawin Cree Nation until moving to the Pas, Manitoba at the age of 12. At 19 years old, Justina established her life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was there that she met William Gault, and together they created a family she loved with all her heart. Their relationship endured for 36 years and was brought to an end only by her sudden passing.

In the lives she touched and the family she cherished, Justina will be remembered, simply and sincerely, as the best.

A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
