It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kevin Scott McNabb on Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home.
Left to cherish his memory are his son Scott (Marie-Julie), siblings Robert, Cheryl (Gerald), and Lisa (Michael); nieces and nephews, Amanda (Luc), Brady (Carla), Andrew (Skye), Logan (Diana), Hannah; great-nephew Theo; many other relatives, and his close friends.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Gwenneth McNabb.
Kevin grew up in Windsor Park, attending the local schools and then entered the Canadian Armed Forces shortly after graduation. He trained in Nova Scotia and Alberta and enjoyed his assignment as a Medic. In 2000, with the help and support of his family, Kevin established the Grant Park Hearing Centre and launched his business career fitting clients with the appropriate hearing device. His generous giving spirit was exemplified in his work with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, taking hearing devices to the less fortunate of the world.
Kevin was always a sports enthusiast, both as a player and a spectator. His greatest passion was spending time with his son, on any motorized vehicle that fit the weather or environment.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honour Kevin’s giving spirit by contributing to the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
