On March 28, 2012 Kirpal Kaur Mangat passed away at the Victoria General Hospital.
Kirpal was born in the Village of Chak Sarwan Nath on October 7, 1920. She was married to the late Pritam Singh Mangat of the Village of Begowal, Ludhiana District, Punjab India. Kirpal and Pritam joined their family in Winnipeg, Canada on September 7, 1988.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Tarlochan (Amarjit), Gurbhajan (Gurmit), Rajinder (Baldev), Nirmal (Harbans), Gurmail (Jaswinder), Gurmit (Harjit), Jaswinder (Darshan) and Jaswant (Paramjit). Kirpal also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 31 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard with last prayer at 2:00 p.m. at Singh Sabha, 4000 Sturgeon Road.
