It's taken me a few weeks to find the right words and I still don't have it.........Kurt was 1 of the most genuine, kindest men I've had the privilege to know. I honestly thought of him as a "Dad" to me. My most vivid memories of him.....sorry Dwight......was of the days or nights we bonded over Dwight. I know he's laughing when I bring this up...... Metallica nights!!!! He was like my silent partner........all it took was us looking at each other from across the room. I really appreciated him especially during these moments as I'm sure he felt the same.
I'm having a very difficult time myself with all of this, but can only take comfort in knowing he's at peace. I had a special kind of love for him and always will. I pray and hope that his family and friends will just remember all the happiness and smiles he brought to everyone and cherish that. XOXO
