Known always as Peggy to her friends, Margaret Thomson Haynes (nee McRitchie) passed away peacefully on the morning of December 31, 2010 at the age of 92.
Always strong and resolute, age finally caught up with her, a full 25 years after her husband Marsh passed away.
She happily watched in those years as grandchildren grew up and thrived, and started to become parents themselves.
Family was everything to Peggy, and getting them all together without a lot of fuss would have been important. So when college classes end and arrangements can be made, the family and friends will gather in Winnipeg in late spring to celebrate her life.
Thanks to the staffs at Grace Hospital and Tuxedo Villa, Station One, who made Mom comfortable as her life closed.
She will be dearly missed by her kids - Jim, John, Susan, Bob and David - and their own children and loved ones.
