

On November 26, 2025, Margaret passed away at the age of 100.
Predeceased by her husband Herman(Harold) and her daughter Janice Fischer, she leaves behind daughter Maureen Annable, son-in-law Don Fischer, grandsons Jeffrey Fischer and Keith Fischer(Jen), Shawn Annable(Clarice) and Grand-daughter Janet Annable(Dan) and Great-grandchildren, Lewis Nabelsi-Fischer, Liam Annable, Lauren and Bryson Dragic.
Margaret was born April 5, 1925 in Green Bay, Manitoba and was the youngest of 11 children. She married Herman(Harold) on May 26, 1945. She moved to Beausejour for a few years and then to Winnipeg in 1965. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Beausejour and Lutheran Church of the Cross in Winnipeg. Margaret worked for Zellers for many years and was very active with the Seniors club "High Steppers" when she retired.
Margaret loved to travel and visited Hawaii a number of times, Palm Springs and Vegas, Fiji, Cuba, Mexico and the Caribbean. She also went on a number of bus trips to eastern Canada and western USA.
Her family was very important to her, and family get-togethers were cherished. She loved crossword puzzles, reading, and had a remarkable memory. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life for Margaret will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Avenue.
