 I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to Therese's family. My thoughts, prayers and love go out to Marcel, Gilbert, Pierre, Jacques, Ben, and all her extended family and friends. Although I always felt that Therese was someone special, I was closest to her in my teen years when I spent a lot of time at her home hanging out with my cousins, playing pool, sharing a few laughs and perhaps the occasional mischief....
Terry always made me feel so welcome and loved. She had a joie-de-vivre, a kind heart, and a soulful laugh (which remains etched in my memory). I have many pleasant memories of those days. My only regret is that I had not put more effort in keeping in touch with her more over the passing years.
I have many stories of those days however one that I recall with great fondness is one night when she and Marcel came home after a nice dinner  at the Ichiban restaurant (a restaurant I believe they frequented with friends). In those days I was always around and in many ways, she made me feel like an extension of the family. All the DesAutels did.
When I saw her that night she gave me a big hug and called me 'Ichiban', which she told me meant 'favorite one'. I guess I was one of her favourite nephews at that time since I was so close with Ben in particular, but the whole family in one way or another.  From then on she called me Ichiban, and it made me feel very special.
I am so thankful to Terry for all her love and kindness. Her family was always clearly number one for her however I always felt she was looking out for me too.
To my Ichiban, may you rest in the eternal peace you so deserve.

Mom was predeceased by the following siblings: Madeleine Dégagné, Gilbert, Paulette Murphy, Roger, Rolande and Lorraine.

Thérèse leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 68 years, Marcel DesAutels, and her children Gilbert (Ruth), Pierre-Edouard (Monique), Jacques (Janet) and Bernard (Danielle).
Thérèse will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jean-Louis (Lori), Richard (Maggie), Danielle (Richard Cayer), Dominique (Billy Valoie), Marcel (Gwen), Barbera-Chantal (Jory Smith), Mélanie (Vincent Benoit), Kathryne, Mikayla and Katarina.
Thérèse also leaves to mourn seven great-grandchildren: Connor, Taryn, Léo, Jesse, Hailey, Hannah and Lexa-Rae.
