OBITUARY

Mrs. Marilyn Patricia Marshall

17 May, 1950 – 14 June, 2021
IN THE CARE OF

Klassen Funeral Home

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Marshall nee Kalata on June 14, 2021 at the age of 71.

Marilyn lived in Winnipeg Beach, passed in Gimli hospital. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her three sons Brent, Jason (Julie) and Darrall (Robyn), grandchildren Brooklyn, Ella, Nola, Riley and Joshua and great grandson Jasper, niece Andrea Thomas as well as numerous cherished family, friends and her two favorite dogs Hannah and Revi. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Richard Marshall, parents Stanley and Marion Kalata, Dorothy, Sean, Jerry and Dean.

Mom had an entrepreneurial spirit with success as a business owner with her own hair salon, Dad’s partner in the music industry, and volunteer, creating a better future for many people with special needs, she was promoted to Director of the Board. She loved her collectables, which all came with a memory, we have been told. She had fast hands when it came to spoiling her grandchildren and pets alike with snacks from her purse. Her attitude in life is that of grace, compassion and her everlasting love of her Ricky. For which we can all be grateful.

Our mother has had the good fortune of having wonderful people in her life, which helped create a lifetime of fond memories for our family. Marshall family from Woodlands, Laurel and Bas, Carlo and Linda, Ron and Loraine, Dot, Jerry, Derin, Shawn, Lil and Dean and many more, with special thanks to Gail Murphy for all you are currently doing.

Service to be announced at a future date when all who wish to attend, can.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society.
