Marion C. Peever

After a long life well-lived, the family of Marion Peever announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at the age of 103.

Marion was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her younger brother David and their parents David and Mary, who emigrated from Ireland and Scotland.

Marion met our dad Jim while working at Reliance Grain.

Marion enjoyed curling at Assiniboine Curling Club and golfing with the ladies at Breezy Bend. Mom also donated her sewing and knitting skills to many charities. She was also an avid Free Press crossword puzzle solver.

Marion is survived by her sons, Wells and Bob, and daughter Wendy, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2014.

Cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held.

A special thank you to the staff at Riverview Palliative Care, Unit 3 East, who supported Marion and her family during her final weeks.
