Marty was an adventurer at heart. As a young child he kept everyone on their toes, he was silly and loved to make people laugh, a natural comedian. Marty’s love for sports as a young boy included football, hockey, archery and dirt biking. His love for the outdoors was great. Marty even pursued the same work as his father as a commercial fisherman for a short time. He was super handy with renovations. Marty loved mechanics, this is a natural talent passed down to him from his Father and
Grandfather Marty had his class 5 engineering from Red River College. He worked for a Shaw Cable Company. Recently United Chemicals Marty had a rare sense of humor, full of wit. He had a flare for great story telling and good jokes. He didn’t do anything small-time; his motto would be “Go Big or Go Home”. Family functions were always important; he always bought so many extra desserts, especially pies.
He made everyone always feel welcome. He’d give you his shirt off his back. Marty had a sweet giving heart. Marty’s smile was a mile long. He also stood strong with his values and beliefs. Marty loved to cook and was good at it. Marty was a Coffee Drinker and he liked it Strong! He had a strong bond with his parents whom he adored. He was a loving father, a loyal brother, a loyal son. His love for his children is immeasurable. They are the apple of his eye, his most precious jewels. Marty’s love for music was deep, especially for guitar. Always wanted to play you something he had learned. He was so proud of his son that they shared a passion for the guitar. His Daughters are his little princesses.
He felt like the king of the world because of his children.
