It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and the Queen Bee of the family Mary Melnyk on September 29, 2011.
Mary was predeceased by parents Lena and Nicholas Ewankow, husband Nicholas and brothers John, Peter and Mike.
She is survived by sons Kenneth (Verna) of Chilliwak, BC, Raymond, daughters, Beverley (Colin) Lloyd, Marianne (John) Walden, grandchildren; Chawna, Tom, Jim (Paige), Tim, Andrew (Melinda), and Matthew, great grandchildren; Shelina, Sarissa, and Jenaya, as well as brother Steve and sisters-in-laws Lee, Barbara (Ernie) and Nitch.
Memorial service was held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 6 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
Mom was our Angel on Earth and now she is our Angel in Heaven.
