

Peacefully on March 26, 2013 Patricia Bernice Scott passed away at Victoria Hospital at the age of 86.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles (Paulette), Barb (Roger Bristow) and grandchildren Heather and Lyndsay.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Ken in 2009 and her parents Gertrude and Frederick Charles Scott of Wawanesa.
Pat graduated with a RN degree from the St. Boniface School of Nursing in 1947. She went on to work as a RN in Souris Manitoba before marrying Ken and settling in Boissevain and then Winnipeg. Pat and Ken were long time members of The Wildewood Club where she enjoyed golfing and curling with their many friends. Some of her numerous accomplishments included winning the ladies Dominion Curling Championship in 1965 as a member of the Peggy Casselman team. She was a member of the first team to win the Grand Aggregate by winning the Hudson Bay and Lady Eaton events in 1968. This was followed up the same year by winning the Charleswood Car Bonspiel. Pat was inducted into the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame in 1988 for being a member of the first Manitoba team to win the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship. Pat also enjoyed competitive golf winning many Wildewood ladies club championships and was personally rewarded with a hole in one in 1969. Pat and Ken travelled extensively throughout Canada, the US and Europe.
Pat’s family will lay her to rest at a private gathering at Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery.
