On December 18, 2012 Roy passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 70 years old. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Adeline, his brothers Robert, David, Gordon and three sisters; Christine Rider, Bernice Hall and Sandra Reid. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his loving son Robert Morrissette (Marjorie) and two grandchildren Tracey and Wesley. Roy will be sadly missed by his brothers Edward (Harriet), Abraham, Roderick (Collette), sisters Florence Cardinal, Gloria Snyder and Joanne Morrissett (John) and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Thursday December 27, 2012 at 10:00 am at Thomson Funeral Home located at 669 Broadway Ave.
Public viewing was prior to Service with a Luncheon to follow the service at 53 Stadacona Street, Winnipeg.
