Prabhakar Gupta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grand father, brother, friend - Prabhakar Gupta on April 8, 2024, at the Grace Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Gujarat, India. He immigrated with his family, Kalpna (wife) and sons Chirag and Parag to Winnipeg in 1989 to join his brothers, Madhukar & Bhaskar’s family. Very sadly he lost his wife Kalpna in 2002.

Prabhakar worked at Frank Fair Industries and dedicated his life to raising his family. He served many community organizations such as Gujarati Cultural Society of Manitoba, Hindu Society of Manitoba and Swaminarayan.

He is survived by his sons Chirag (Apexa), Parag (Mittal) and grand-kids Dheer, Aryan & Vivaan, as well as extended Gupta family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Winnipeg, MB

Shanti Path will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Yogi Divine Society, 523 Harstone Rd, Winnipeg.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria and Grace Hospitals for their loving care, and heart-felt gratitude to all family and friends during this difficult time.
