Ramharakh “Samuel” Arjun, 85, of Guyana, passed away peacefully November 26th, 2013 at Victoria general hospital at 9: 36 a.m. surrounded by his family.
Arjun was born in Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo May 3rd, 1928 and is survived by his wife Sookdeya Arjun , his only and eldest sister Inez Pitamber, his four “4” sons and daughters-in-law: Ganga, Ralph (Nero), Bheesham (Neraji), Balram ( Parbattie) and three “3” daughters and sons-in-law: Bano (Ivan) , Shanta (Tony), and Sheukumarie (Krishna). He will be missed by his 22 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Arjun will be remembered as a devoted Hindu, especially at the Tuschen Hindu temple in Guyana, as a loving husband, a hard working father, and a teacher to his grand children. He had a passion for farming, and a great love for cricket.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday November 30 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg MB. R3T 5Y4
