

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Randall Duncan Anderson on the 10th of December 2020. He passed away at his home in Winnipeg in the presence of family and friends. He is predeceased by his mother Marie and his father Alexander and survived by his 5 children: Randi, Matthew, Collin, Isaac, Harmony and his brother Alex.
Randy was born in Winnipeg Manitoba on June 24th, 1958 and was raised by parents Alexander and Marie Anderson. He was the third child of four with his older sister and brother Karen and Alex and younger sister Charlene. He graduated from River East Collegiate in the summer of 1975 before taking up a job as a chemist for Canada packers. He held this position for a couple of years before taking up a different job as a security officer at Jen Peg and Bomber town gold mines. In 1981 he married his wife Bernice Henton and in that same year the two had there first child and eldest daughter Randi. In 1984 Randy attend post secondary education at Red River college followed by the birth of his second child and eldest son Matthew in 1985. He graduated in 1986 with a diploma in electrical drafting and 2 years later he would go to work as a draftsman for border glass where he would stay for 9 years. In 1990 Randy and Bernice had there third child and second son Collin. In 1995 Randy left Border Glass and began his own drafting business, he opened the doors to Anderson Drafting Services in late 1995 which he ran and maintained until 2019. After opening Anderson Drafting Services Randy and Bernice gave birth to there two final children, Isaac in 1997 and Harmony in 2000.
Randy will be remembered by many for his work and achievement in the industry of electrical drafting, but for those who knew him personally he will be remembered for his great knowledge of many subjects, his fantastic sense of humour, his generous heart and his friendship.
