Suddenly while doing what he loved, Roy Oleschuk sadly passed away in the early hours of May 14, 2023 at the Querel Lodge in Ontario on the annual fishing trip with his friends David and Trent.
He celebrated his 70th birthday in Barbados with his wife and sister-in-law in January of this year. It was a trip of a lifetime for him and he got to see and visit his longtime friend Virgil who now lives in Barbados.
Lovingly remembered by his wife, siblings, in laws, extended family, and friends.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service as per his wishes.
Hug your loved ones often, reach out to family daily. Life is short and death is final.
Thanks to the Ontario Police and Paramedics and to his special friends David and Trent who were with him and cared for him in his last days and hours.
