Mrs. Ruth Margaret Danaher Rogers

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Gordon (2003), with whom she shared 62 wonderful years, her parents Francis (1958) and Ethel (1968), brother Robert (1992), sister Bernice (2016), grandson Bobby (2004), and great-granddaughter Faith (2005).

Ruth will be deeply missed by her three sons and their families, Bob and his family, Vicky, Yvette, Stephen and Penelope; Michael and his family, Dianne, Jennifer, Michael, Riley and Leyton, Andrea, Kurt, Caleb, Sadie and Colton, Heather, Alain, Katelyn and Alexandre; Dan and his family, Gail, Anita, Donald, Anika, Yvette and Skyla, Patrick, Justin, Juri, Jiro and Christian. Ruth was a devoted wife and mother, an amazing grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She kept a beautiful home, hosted many family dinners over the years and was very generous on special occasions. She loved knitting, gardening, crosswords, jumbles and especially chocolate. Ruth had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed life.

We will remember her fondly whenever we have a scotch, a martini or a cup of tea. Ruth's family would like to thank all of the staff at Golden Links Lodge, where Ruth resided for the last two years, for their compassionate and loving care.

Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Ruth's life is being planned for this summer.
