Sally Madge (Brown) Moore

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sally Madge Moore (née Brown) on July 17, 2026, at the age of 75.

Born in Winnipeg to William and Esther Brown, Sally was one of seven children. Her childhood was marked by profound hardship and loss, experiences that shaped the remarkable resilience she carried throughout her life. Rather than allowing adversity to define her, she built a life filled with creativity, beauty, perseverance, and meaningful relationships.

Sally was a proud mother and grandmother. She will be forever loved and remembered by her son Cameron Kasian and his wife Benchamat, of Comox, BC; her daughter Tarah Moore, and her cherished granddaughters, Jacey and Eliana Kern, all of Lethbridge, AB.

Sally treasured the many visits she shared with Cameron and Benchamat in Comox. Those special times together, and the love, kindness, and care they showed her, brought her immense joy and created cherished memories.

She is also lovingly remembered by her brother Charles and his wife, Gwen, whose steadfast love and unwavering support meant so much throughout her life; her brother Bob and his wife Sandra; her brother Peavey and his wife Lisa; and her sister Esther and her husband Rob. Sally deeply valued the time she spent with her brothers, sister, and their families. Family gatherings, shared laughter, and the bonds they shared throughout the years were among life’s greatest blessings.

She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, extended family, and the many dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Sally was predeceased by her parents, William and Esther Brown; her sisters Betty and Frankie; her nephews Donnie and Marty; and her son-in-law Rob Kern.

A talented artist, accomplished weaver, exceptional cook, and passionate gardener, Sally had an extraordinary eye for beauty. She found joy in creating welcoming spaces, celebrating Christmas, sharing meals with family and friends, and making every occasion special. She also enjoyed sailing, tap dancing, singing and driving her beloved MGB sports car, and organizing outings with the CIBC Retirees’ Group, bringing people together to share laughter and friendship.

Throughout her life, Sally built successful careers in community work and later in real estate. She was respected for her professionalism, compassion, integrity, and attention to detail, taking great pride in helping others.

Sally also treasured the many wonderful friendships she built throughout her life. She was fortunate to share countless laughs, conversations, adventures, and memories with a close circle of friends whose love and companionship enriched her life.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Grace Goodwin, whose unwavering friendship, kindness, and support meant the world to Sally over many years. Grace’s loyalty, compassion, and steadfast presence were a tremendous gift, and our family will always be deeply grateful for the friendship they shared.

Sally will be remembered for her resilience, creativity, sense of humor, appreciation for beauty, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the beauty she brought into the world.

May she rest in peace, forever loved and remembered by all whose lives she touched.
