Left to mourn are his wife of 45 years Rita; his children Daniela (John), Maurizio and Antonietta; his grand-children: Luca, Sophia, Maya and Ava; and several other friends and relatives across Canada and Italy.
Silvio was preceded by his parents Antonietta and Carmine and his Brother Giuseppe.
Silvio was born in Sipicciano, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He had a passion for life and for his family. He spent the majority of his career as a chef and restaurant owner. He loved to entertain everyone, and always had a funny story to tell. He was an avid gardener and loved nothing more than being in his backyard surrounded by his family with a glass of wine.
A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 am at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Viewing will begin at 9:00 am.
