

He will be forever remembered by his wife of 61 years Lorraine (Nee Mah), his children Donna (Siggi), Debbie (Alan), Carol (Stan), 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, He is also survived by his sister Mary Bodner, special nieces Jane and Gordon Watters of Winnipeg and Marsha and Brad Hall of Edmonton. Stanley was predeceased by his father Andrew in 1963, and his mother Katie in 1989,his brother John, his sister Emily and his brother Casey.
Stan was born on November 11, 1924 where he grew up on a farm in Melrose, Manitoba. He then began his career working for different companies as a pipefitter/plumber, ending his career with CNR in 1982.
Stan enjoyed sports, either listening to the radio or watching on TV. He enjoyed family dinners and always loved having the grandchildren come to visit. He always helped his children when they called upon him, no matter how big the task or small. Dad was there for us. Towards the end of Stan’s life, he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, shopping with his wife, as well as listening to his music, old country music.
My life on earth is truly past
I’ll love you all to the very last
Weep not for me, but courage take
And love one another for my sake
He loved his family above all else, maybe more.
A private service will take place at a later date.
