It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Surinder Pal Kaur Sandhu. She passed away peacefully on December 12, 2019 after bravely battling cancer for over 3 years.
Surinder Pal was a loving wife, amazing mother, aunt, friend and the best grandmother who will be remembered for her kind, polite and happy nature. After retiring from her job in India, she devoted all of her time to her children and grandchildren. Although her life was short, she enjoyed it to the fullest with lots of love, laughter and joy. She will be greatly missed her family, friends and everyone else who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Puran Singh Sandhu; her 2 daughters Iqbal Kaur (Sulakhan S. Brar) and Kiranjeet (Jasvir S. Brar) and 4 grandchildren, Guneet, Tarneet, Dia and Habby; and all of her extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
Final prayers will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Sikh Society of Manitoba, 1244 Mollard Road.
