

With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Teresita Guingcangco, fondly known as Mama Tessie to her nieces and nephews, and lovingly called “My Lab Ko” by her daughter. Teresita passed away on November 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on September 10, 1954 in Makati City, Philippines, Teresita lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved. She was the cherished wife of Reynaldo Guingcangco and the beloved mother of her only child, who was the center of her world.
Teresita is survived by her siblings Lourdes, Emelita, and Ernesto, and is reunited in peace with her brothers Crisologo, Angelo, Carlos, and Salvador, as well as her parents who passed before her.
Those who knew her will remember her as loving, caring, sweet, generous, and selfless. Her heart was full of affection, and her love language was words of affirmation—she never missed a chance to say “I love you,” or to let her family know how important they were to her. She was willing to sacrifice everything to ensure her daughter had a good and beautiful life.
Teresita also had a joyful spirit and a passion for travel. She was the mastermind behind many memorable family trips, creating moments that will forever be cherished.
Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
