Tosh was born in the Cayman Islands, grew up in Winnipeg, MB and graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate. He participated in a variety of sports while growing up with hockey and baseball being his main focus. Most recently he developed a passion for the game of golf and enjoyed his membership at St. Boniface.
Tosh had an infectious, charismatic personality that drew others to him. And this goes without saying; a smile that would light up a hundred rooms. At an early age Tosh developed a love of Cowboys and named his first pet fish Roy Rogers. He took horseback riding lessons and competed in quick draw competitions in Deadwood, South Dakota, where he drew crowds and was eventually interviewed by their local news station. He loved playing basketball, mini-sticks, and floor hockey with his brothers; trash talking each other along the way. He spent COVID going to the gym always coaching his brother on how to work on his ‘gains’. He was enjoying his studies at Red River College and was looking forward to graduating this month with Commerce, Industry Sales & Marketing.
Tosh was a fierce competitor and was known as a joker and team leader. Many hours were spent outside on the ODR with his friends and brothers and he enjoyed many walks with the family dog Bosco. Tosh loved board games, watching the Wizard of Oz with his ‘Momma Bear’ playing checkers with his dad, writing poetry and goal setting.
Tosh’s family would like to thank everyone who has contributed to helping us get through this tremendously painful time. Your thoughts, text messages, prayers, flowers and donation of food is greatly appreciated.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Reception will immediately follow at Nicolino’s Restaurant 2077 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg, MB
