He will be remembered by his three children Jennifer (Jason), Alison, and William (Jessica); grandchildren Kiefer, Katherine, Liam, Vivian, and Astrid; siblings Betty (Jim), Barry (Sharon), Val (David), Lilly (Lorne), George (Joelle) and their families.
Bill was a private person and enjoyed painting, nature, and antique collecting. He appreciated the arts and supported political causes for a more just and equitable community. He enjoyed history and was proud of his Icelandic ancestry. He will be sadly missed. The children would like to extend their deep appreciation to Uncle George for all the support he provided to Bill and the family during his final weeks.
A celebration of life will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on July 12th at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
