Unexpectedly, on May 23, 2022, William (Bill) Thomson passed away at the age of 80.
He is survived by his wife Astrid; sons: Glenn (Dalmar); Blair (Tamara); as well as grandchildren: Samantha, Logan, Paige; and great grandchild Gia.
Bill enjoyed sitting on the front steps drinking coffee, smoking and chatting with the neighbors. He also enjoyed going for short walks in the neighborhood. He will be sorely missed.
Many thanks to the attending Winnipeg Police Service members and the Coroner’s Office who were very professional, caring and patient during this sad time.
Cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place at a later date.
