Betty V. Saunders

Betty “Vicki” Poindexter Saunders, of Greensboro, NC passed away on May 9, 2015. Betty was born in Winston-Salem to the late Carlton and Virginia Poindexter. Betty lived in Florida for several years before moving back to Greensboro. Betty “Vicki” is survived by her husband of 40 years Raymond Saunders, uncle James Forkner, brother John Poindexter and his wife Janice of Statesville, step-children Stuart, Sharon and Steve Saunders, nephew Jeffrey Poindexter, three grandnieces and four step-grandchildren. Betty “Vicki” received a Bachelor’s degree in 1966 and Master's Degree in 1971 from UNC-G. She worked in real-estate and with the Guilford County Health Department. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home on Reynolda Road. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Forsyth Memorial Park.
