I have fond memories of Claude from our time together in Philadelphia at Jefferson Medical College.  We received excellent preparation for our professions in medicine. Those of us from the South bonded and joined Phi Chi Fraternity and had fun times as well.  Claude will be missed.  My wife, Sarah, joins me in sending condolences.  Lloyd Whitfield Bailey, M.D.

I enjoyed working with Dr. Smith back in the '80's when I worked at Forsyth Hospital in radiology. He always was pleasant, smiled, was kind--and always wore a bow tie. Though I haven't worked at Forsyth for a while, I know he will be missed.

I was sad to know that Dr Claude passed, he was a very nice and gentle person, I will always cherish those moments that I got to know him, his legacy remains and I will always admire him for
the person he was!  He will always remain in our hearts!  My most sincere condolences to all of his family.

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Smith's passing. What a kind and caring man! I worked closely with him at Forsyth as a tech from 1978 until his retirement. May you all find peace in the wonderful Legacy he leaves.
