Greg was born in Winston Salem on June 24, 1960 to the late Bobby and Barbara Young. He graduated Davie High School and attended Forsyth Technical College and High Point University.
Greg always loved the outdoors. He worked for Fleets Supply and Youngdale Farms. But, Greg mostly worked on his farm caring for his cows, a career he truly cherished. In his spare time, Greg loved watching football and reminiscing about his time playing for the Davie War Eagles.
He leaves behind his siblings, Jeffrey Young, Sharon Holler, and Leigh Ann Olinger, and their respective families.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th at 1pm at Forsyth Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Trellis Supportive Care or Mental Health Association In Forsyth County (MHA).
