Jeanette Renee Willard Jewell

Jeanette was born on October 18, 1958, to Roger Willard and Lorene Hamm Willard in Winston-Salem, NC.

Jeanette was loved by all who knew her, and radiated love to everyone she encountered through her kind and generous spirit, providing meals to those in need, giving encouraging words, caring for children, volunteering at church, giving a listening ear, and caregiving to many. Jeanette found immense joy in her faith and her family.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene Hamm Willard; her father, Roger Willard; her brothers, Ronald Willard and Mark Willard, and several babies never born. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Jewell; her sister, Levonda Nunn; her daughters, Natalie Jewell and Amanda Seaford (Thomas); her son, Austin Jewell; her granddaughters, Kerrigan Bishop and Emma Grace Seaford, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held 1:00 pm Monday, January 13 at the Vogler Funeral and Cremations chapel at Forsyth Memorial Park, with the service immediately following at 2:00 pm. The family asks that, if you are able, you attend wearing Jeanette’s favorite color purple as a celebration of her life. Purple memorial pins will also be available for guests.
