Molly Elizabeth Bibb

Molly "Libby" E. Bibb passed away in the early morning of January 27, 2026 peacefully in her sleep while at Hospice Home of the Piedmont In High Point, NC. She was 92 years, 10 months.

Born March 26, 1933 during the depression to George R. Everhart and Lillian Estelle Leonard Everhart. She was the only daughter with six brothers. Raised in rural Davidson County, North Carolina on a small family farm. She often had to learn to do without or very little.

She migrated to Penns Grove, New Jersey where she would finish high school. Later, residing in Pennsville, NJ, she would see all three of her children get a university education. Much of her adult life she was employed in the banking industry as a teller and later as an assistant cashier at Pennsville National Bank.

Married a few times, the longest to Ray J. Haupt lasted 25 years. Most recently to Wayne F. Bibb, who passed 10 years back.

Of her children, Steven B. Elmore (adopted Haupt) predeceased her. Surviving are sons Mark Haupt, of Winston-Salem, and Ray Haupt of Oak Ridge, NC. She leaves 7 grandchildren, Dr. Carl Haupt, Neil Haupt, Glen Haupt, Andrew Haupt, Evan Haupt, Elizabeth Haupt and Nicholas Haupt, and three great-grandchildren (Hunter, Beau and Aaro). One grandson, Erik Haupt, predeceased her.

Her remains (per her request) are being donated to Wake Forest Bowman-Gray School of Medicine. Afterwards, her cremated remains will be interred at her church - Harmony Grove Methodist in Lewisville, NC. No family gatherings or services are planned.
