Just found out about you losing your mom and dad within the past few months - so sorry to hear this, I know that this must be a very hard time - Please know I am thinking of you guys and hoping you can find the peace that comes from above - I have very fond memories of both of your parents, they were truly dedicated to you two, but also always had an open door for your friends, what a gift - I am still in Winston, not sure where you guys are, but please email me and let me know how you are - I have looked on facebook for you but not found you, Allison - I will continue to hold you guys in my heart - hope you are both well - it has been a long time but still hold you so fondly in my heart - my very best - Temple

Dear Allison and Phil:  What a beautiful tribute to you mother, Nan.  I was told today of your mom's passing and also learned of your dad's recent passing.  I have wonderful memories of both of your parents and spending many happy hours in your childhood home.  I too remember how devoted your mother was to all things and how she spent so much time helping with the Tiny Vikings Girl's program, all of her beautiful flowers and just how much she loved to talk.  She would carry on a converstion for as long as you wanted her to.  She was a very sweet lady.  And I also remember your dad's awesome cooking and his joking and sense of humor.  My mother has visited your parents several times over the last couple years when we learned that they were living in King.  I am very sorry for your loss, I know how that is as I lost my dad a few years back.  I will forever hold fond and special memories of our years growing up and of your wonderful parents.  May God bless your families.

Nan's Family:  You don't know me but I knew Nan! In 1986 I went with a couple co-workers from RJR Coupon Redemption on a cold Winter day to get Violets for another co-worker's birthday.  What a gracious lady I met that day and something smelled delicious in her home. She was brewing Russian Tea. We chose a beautiful basket of violets, for our friend, left with a steaming hot cup of Russian Tea and the recipe (written on the back of my RJR check stub by Nan.  I still have the stub in my collection of recipes and have shared it with family and many friends.  Nan's Russian Tea is a tradition!  What a delightful woman! God bless you all, her family.
