Philip Arthur Ives Jr.

Born in Albany, NY on 8/13/1951, he is the son of the late Philip A Ives Sr and late Loretta Ives, and brother of Phyllis McDermott. He grew up in the Berne/Westerlo region of New York. Butch is the loving father of his 3 sons (David Joseph, Jay Anthony, and Bradley Philip) as well as his daughter-in-law Susanna Elisabeth, a doting grandfather to his grandson Lucas Philip, and the forever soul mate of his wife Suzzanne Elizabeth. He is also family to many siblings-in-law and uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Butch is a self-taught one-man construction crew that enjoyed working with his big hands, building multiple houses and camping around the East coast. He retired from ALTech Specialty Steel and the Greenville Central School district. He is strong and stubborn, and the sweetest softie to all who really knew him with a vise-like hug and a booming laugh. If he picked on you, it meant he liked you.

He will be greatly missed.
