Polly Williams Street, age 90, passed away on June, 16, 2022 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Rolf, West Virginia on February 18, 1932 to the late George Wesley Williams and Mary Jane Smith Williams.
Polly was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Polly is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman E Street; son, Ronnie Dutton; four grandchildren; and sister, Irene Williams.
Polly leaves behind her children, Robert Dutton, Dolores St. George (John), Thurman “Corky” Street (Debbie), Sandra Spriggs (Cliff), Shelia Stanley (Craig), Glenda Yokely (Dwayne), and David Street; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Louthen; and many other loved ones.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 27th at 2pm in the Mausoleum at Forsyth Memorial Park with Pastor Randall Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
