Ramon Morales Rios

Ramon Morales Rios, aged 80, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023, in Kernersville, North Carolina. Born on April 27, 1943, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Ramon was known for his caring nature, humorous spirit, and generosity.

Ramon graduated from Hauppauge High School and later joined the Air Force, serving from 1962 to 1966. He moved to Puerto Rico in 1970. His commitment to service continued with the Air National Guard in Puerto Rico from 1976 to 1982. Ramon embarked on a successful career as a computer programmer at CNA/Integrand in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he worked until his retirement in 2000.

Beyond his professional and military life, Ramon was passionate about reading, music, and solving sudoku puzzles, activities that brought joy and tranquility to his life.

Ramon is survived by his brother, Gilbert Morales; and nieces, Denise Trujillo, Dani Galarza, Andi Grant, along with many grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Morales Morales and Angela Morales Rios, and his sister, Yudith Morales Rios.

A ceremony to inter Ramon's ashes will be held on November 1st, 2024, at 12:30 pm at the Jacksonville National Cemetery located at 4083 Lannie Road. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness and humor.
