Thomas Edward Jeffrey

Tom was born in Charleston, West Virginia on September 22, 1960 to the late James Edward Jeffrey and Blanche Irene Jeffrey. He spent his entire career with Piedmont Airlines/US Airways/American Airlines mastering jobs from customer service to airline maintenance. Tom retired with American Airlines after 35 years.

In his free time, Tom loved traveling. He looked forward to camping and especially trips to the beach. He loved walking the beaches and especially looked forward to these trips when his family could join him. The family meals where everyone would go out to eat together or gather to grill out were some of Tom’s fondest memories. Tom’s family was the most important thing to him. He loved his grandchildren unconditionally and adored hearing from each of them.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittany. He leaves behind is loving wife, Toni Jean Jeffrey; sons, TJ Jeffrey and Jeremy Jeffrey; step-son Travis (Regina) Brooks; grandchildren, Seth (Jasmine) and Isaac Brooks, Olivia Currier, Gabriel and Tea Jeffrey, Jordan Johnson, and Jeremy and Lauren Jeffrey; and great granddaughter, Daisy Mae Brooks; siblings, Mickey Jeffrey and Helen Jeffrey; special niece, Andrea and her daughter, Lila; special nephew, Josh (Amber) Meredith and his children, Ryan, Amelia, Andrew, and Camden; special cousin, Loraine Woodle; as well as numerous other beloved family members.

The family will hold a private celebration of Tom’s life.
