

Alysia Janay Anderson, 21, of Ocoee, Florida went home to be with her Lord on July 23, 2015. She was born in Tampa, Florida on August 9, 1993 to the union of Anthony Anderson and Beryl Pryor. Alysia graduated from Ocoee High School in 2011 and was a National Technical Honor Student at Westside Tech studying Cosmetology. She was an excellent cook. She loved cooking, traveling, Broadway plays, swimming, going to the beach, listening to music, experimenting with make-up and hair styles and spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Faith and Power Worship Center in Apopka where she also taught and assisted in the Children’s Ministry from an early age. She was a giver, whether it was a pan of her famous brownies or her time, talent and treasures. Even in death, she gave by donating organs so that others would have the same opportunity availed to her when she received a kidney transplant in 2011. Alysia leaves to cherish her memory her parents: Anthony Anderson and Beryl Pryor Battle and Stepfather Harold Battle; her grandparents: Patsy J. Pryor and Scharolyn Godwin-Pryor; her aunts and uncles: Ralph (Lori) Anderson, Heath Anderson, Brenda Marshall, Keli Pryor, Debbie (Dwayne) Taylor; her Godparents: Apostle Matthew and Pastor Pamela Shaw, Lisa Guthrie and Kenneth “Skip” McClendon, Sr.; her Godsisters: Nkechi Lamar and Zoraida Christina Longchamp as well as numerous loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Alysia’s Life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 5-7PM at Faith and Power Worship Center, 2230 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL 32703.
